Isabelle is a musician, string fixer and arranger based in London.
With two older, musical sisters, Izzy was introduced to music from a young age. As many do, she squeaked away on a recorder and hit many (of the wrong) keys on the piano before being drawn to the violin.
As a teenager Izzy showed promise as a string musician and was given a viola to fill a need within her school. She progressed through the Bromley Youth Music Trust (where she now teaches) – touring to Spain, Germany, Hungary and Finland on both violin and viola.
She studied Music at City University in London, receiving viola tuition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Arisa Frujita. It was at university she decided to pursue performance and began to make a name for herself within the London music scene.
Izzy regularly performs on both violin and viola and prides herself on being a versatile musician – playing all genres from baroque and classical to pop, rock and theatre. She is a highly experienced wedding musician and is Director of the string group Intermezzo Music.
Being a professional musician, Isabelle is a register Musicians Union member. She also has Public Liability Insurance, is DBS checked and holds a full, clean driving licence.
